A friendly bet posted on social media is winning the hearts of thousands across the globe.

A group of four young kids approached Jeff Gravatt as he headed into a Walmart to buy a few things. The group playfully asked if Jeff was willing to make a friendly bet – the wager? $10 so they could buy a large pizza from Dominos. They were hungry!

Wanting to enjoy the moment, Jeff casually replied “I’m a gambling man,” as he found himself wanting to help.

The oldest of the group bet he could ride a wheelie on his bicycle from one stop sign to the other. When asked why they wanted to win $10, the boy replied that they wanted to order a pizza.

The boy came really close but didn’t quite make it to the stop sign. While the group frantically tried to figure out how to pay Jeff his $10, Jeff decided to go ahead and order/pay for the pizza, and sweetened the deal with a 2 liter of Sprite.

Jeff snapped a photo of the newly-found friendship, and posted it to Facebook, writing:

“Group of young kids caught me on my way into the store. Asked me if I wanted to make a bet. I replied “I’m a gambling man.” Older kid said he could ride a wheelie on his bike stop sign to stop sign. I said no way… and how much? He said 10 bucks. I said why 10? He said they wanted a large pizza at Dominos…. I said deal. He came very close but couldn’t hold it his wheelie that long…. While they were figuring out how to come up with 10 bucks, I had already ordered their pizza plus a 2 liter of sprite. Made my night. Love seeing kids be kids.”

In conclusion, going out of your way to be kind is always a fantastic idea – and who knows, you might just make a new friend…or four! Thank you, Jeff, for your kindness and leadership. There’s no doubt these kids will remember this moment forever! Much Love!
