Oxytocin – The Love Drug

The Love Drug. The Cuddle Drug. The Trust Drug. All of these names refer to one drug in particular: Oxytocin. If you’ve ever been reading a book and a character talks about getting a warm and fuzzy feeling, that’s oxytocin. Oxytocin can also assist in combating fear, irrational concerns and worries by inhibiting the brains fear center.
